Counts for every run

Check each run’s counts and row errors against the destination before you rely on it.

How an import run works

Import isn’t an all-or-nothing transaction, and every run keeps its filename, destination, status, counts and row errors.

One CSV, up to 50 MB
Each import takes a single .csv file with a header row, up to 50,000,000 bytes. A rejected file blocks the next step until you remove it.
Eight destination tables
Account, Classification, Contact relationship, Entity, Entry, Subledger account, Subledger group and Subledger structure. Each destination sets its own required fields.
Entity imports add enrichment and conflict rules
Entity imports add Enrich data and Conflict strategy between mapping and review. Every other destination uses the four required steps.
Four run states
Pending while drafted or queued, Processing while the worker runs, then Completed or Failed. The worker can make up to three total attempts, so Failed may not be final.
Completed runs can still hold failed rows
A completed run can hold created, updated, unchanged, skipped and failed rows. Success rate counts every processed row that did not error.
Delete removes the import’s record and history
Records the import already created stay in the destination until you change them there.
