Rules for rooms and messages

A message counts once it’s in the transcript, and notifications, AI replies and read state follow on their own without replacing it.

Open a room by being in it

Messenger isn’t an organization-wide mailbox. You open a room by being in it or through a linked fund’s own access, never by an admin title alone.

New contacts start as requests

A first direct message to someone new opens a pending request. You can keep writing, and they can read the thread but can’t reply while it’s pending.

Operator in every support room

New support request opens a fresh room with you and Operator. Operator answers each message while it’s just the two of you, and can’t be removed from the room.

Archiving changes nothing for anyone else

Archiving moves a room to your Archived list. A block stops direct messages both ways and leaves shared groups in place.

Report a message without deleting it

Reporting another participant’s direct message creates a pending moderation record and leaves the message where it is. Delete for me hides it from your view alone.

Message limits

Up to 50,000 characters per message, five local files of up to 10 MiB each, forwards to 20 rooms at once and report notes of up to 1,000 characters.
