Permissions per vehicle
Venture checks permissions for each vehicle, so people see what their role allows, and gives every record a defined state.
- Funds and SPVs
- Funds and SPVs have their own browsers and share most of the vehicle workspace. A fund holds direct and fund investments. An SPV is tied to one underlying company and holds direct investments only.
- Five vehicle states
- Draft, Pending, Active/Open, Active/Closed and Inactive/Closed. A new fund starts Pending, a submitted SPV moves there too, and only a complete vehicle opens.
- Work starts once the vehicle is complete
- Portfolio and invitation work waits for complete parameters, a subscription document template and an Infra One review. Until then, Venture lists what’s left.
- What admins, members and guests can do
- Organization admins create and manage vehicles. Members browse them read-only unless another grant applies. Guests open only assigned vehicles. Inviting investors and capital calls are separate grants.
- One invitation per address
- Every address gets its own invitation, on standard or reviewed custom terms. Venture flags possible duplicate addresses for you to resolve in Contacts first.
- Seven investment states
- Each investment record shows one of seven states, such as Unverified, Pending or Active/Closed. Cancelled and Transferred records are superseded and left out of portfolio sums.
